“Self Help Me” is a getting a reading with “Leave No Trace Theater in Montclair, New Jersey on Sunday September 19th at 6pm!

The newly founded theatre project will kick off its inaugural season with the fire pit reading series, beginning on Sunday, September 19th at 6pm outdoors at Montclair Brewery.
Our first reading will feature Self Help Me, a new play by Catherine Weingarten.
"Cathy is a hot mess so she decides to hire an instagram life coach. But when her life coach, Jessa's advice starts feeling weird and vaguely flirtatious, who really is more qualified to coach who? This satirical play about #mentalhealthculture explores the shifting power dynamics between two women struggling hard to feel heard, seen and comfortable in their own skin."
Attendance is free but requires a two drink minimum, as courtesy to the Montclair Brewery. For this performance, we will also be collecting donations for local Hurricane Ida relief efforts in Montclair.

Although a free event, donations are appreciated. The event will be held in the Beer Garden @ Montclair Brewery, 101 Walnut St, Montclair, accessible by NJ Transit Train.
leave no trace theatre is an adventure theatre company still in development, with goals to create outdoor & site specific experiences that are in conversation in their environment.
Accompanied by discussion, plays are read by the actors with the script in hand with very limited staging. Performances will feature casts of actors from both NYC and the Montclair area.
